First week is done!

Wow!  What a ride it has been.  Last Monday I started my new journey here at Bellevue for my Master degree in Cybersecurity.  I was warned that I would be up over my head deep in homework.  Well, those people were right, but it has been a great experience so far.  I have learned a lot just in the week I have been here.  I have done a lot of reading and typing.

The professors have been very active in class and have provided many resources to help do our assignments.  Just since last Monday, I have typed up 4 papers, 4 discussions, 2 blogs and tons of comments to others discussions.  I have had little time to do anything other than my homework, but as I mentioned, I have enjoyed the ride and the learning experience.

My Information Security Management class has been a blast.  That class has a required blog.  You can find the link to that blog below in a prior blog post.  The blog must consist of a topic of Information Security, but other than that, you are free to let it ride.  I think I had 15 or so posts to my first week's discussion board.  That is my main post plus all my other comments to other posts and answers to questions that other students have asked of my main post.

My Intro to Cyber Ethics has also been a blast.  I have not yet been very active in it yet, but the time is coming.  I am to create a commercial at a later stage in the class to help promote an issue in the topic area of Information Security.  I have already downloaded the software and have been playing around in it.  If you would like to read more on the class, you can also find the link to it below in a prior blog post.

Well, I hope that I have time in the future to blog at least once a week on this specific blog, but I am not going to promise anything.  Well, thanks for reading.
